I came to Signal Learning to make a drastic career change from my welder education and background. My life has been difficult at times and my future was bleat at best.

All the staff, instructors, and students at Signal have made a difference in my life, I am thankful now for everyone there. Terry for being so patient an instructor, never making me feel stupid when I asked the same questions repeatedly. Matt for being so engaging and persistent in the classroom. DaMon for seeing something in me. Mary for teaching me the skills needed to make this work and always having faith in me.

This commitment made a change that offered a future in the technology sector which allows me to support my family while doing what I love. Professionally I am now marketable to companies based on my training and certifications. My new career is just starting and for the first time in my life I enjoy going to work everyday.

I will always remember the fun I have had with my classmates. Without whose support and competitiveness I would still be spinning my wheels.

As of yet I have not accomplished all of my goals, as I want to get my MCSE and become a Systems Administrator. Then my immediate professional goal will be met.

I was ready for a change in my career and I already ready had an interest in the IT field. Heard an ad on the radio and came into Signal's Career Night. Their program seemed to be a well rounded and a worthwhile investment.

I found the instructors were extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which made the learning experience most enjoyable. The students became good friends through the course of the program. The staff was always there to help.

Memories I have are of lots of fun and nights of lots of learning. The biggest change has been doing a job I enjoy. Without the commitment from Signal I wouldn't be where I am today.

Professionally this has been a big step in the right direction toward a successful career. Signal has helped get started in the IT field. Personally this has helped my family and we live in the area we like, not just where we can afford.

Currently I am contracted to IBM through TEKsystems doint EXP user support for NIBSCO [Nisource]. My major goal of completing the course and passing the final test is a big accomplishment. I want to get more experience in Networking intricacies, would like to obtain CISCO Certifications to help accomplish this. I see myself in 5 years as a Network Engineer at a larger corporation.

I love computers and networking and I was looking for a change. I heard Signal Learning's radio commercial ads on U93.

The person that made a difference in my life was Matt Heidet. He is an instructor at Signal Learning. He had a great teaching ability and made material easy to understand. I appreciated his interest in my life and success.

Memories I have are of good classmates who were supportive and competitive. Also, the learning atmosphere was solid. I am now in a career I love and my self confidence has increased so much.

Professionally, this has allowed me to move higher in my career and make much more money. I have the possibilities of doing the things I want for my family financially.

Currently I am a Technical Analyst/Network Administrator for NIBCO Inc. I am still learning a great deal, but I am confident in what I know. I feel that I still have much to accomplish. I would like to be promoted to higher positions of expertise. I would like to receive my MCSE and CCNA Certifications to help me do this. In 5 years, I see my self as a highly competent and knowledgeable Administrator/Engineer.

I was at a point that if I was going to continue in IT I needed to formalize and expand upon what I knew about Information Technology. I was aware that I knew a lot, but lacked organization and structure. I also wanted to accomplish more than just passing a bunch of tests At Signal Learning, I was able to do both.

I was drawn to Signal Learning by an advertisement. The training there helped me not only to organize what I knew, but to update it to the latest information available. The instructors and staff helped keep me focused.

Memories I have are of camaraderie with my class mates.

I now have increased confidence and a higher level of professionalism. I look forward to building on this solid foundation as I move forward with my IT career. I want to achieve my Cisco Certification, my MCSE and my CNE. I currently do desktop support for four different locations. In 5 years, I see myself as a senior or lead analyst.

I wanted to get out of what I was doing and immediately and Signal Learning has done that for me. Matt, Wes, Kerry, Mary, and DaMon were the difference and made it happen.

Everyone had some type of problems along the way that could have made them quit, but we all worked through them and graduated. Our commitment to Signal has made me much happier with where my career path is going and with much less stress.

I am just getting started in my web design part of my position. Not only am I taking on new responsibilities but have been sent back to school for more web development training. With that training I will get my webmaster certification.

This is all leading to my owing my own business doing web design and IT related work. My career has just begun.

I was always interested in networking and the IT industry. That is why I came to Signal Learning.

The instructors, Terry, Matt, Wes and Mary, all taught me so much. They made class extremely enjoyable.

The memories I have are of fun nights, long hard days, and a lot of Mountain Dew. The biggest change has been having a career and a better career path. This has made a better life for me and my family. I am just starting out in a new position.

I do not feel that I am done learning and growing. I would like to get more certifications such as my CCNA, Linx, and MCSE. I would eventually like to learn some programming. I see myself as a Network Administrator or Engineer within the next 5 years.
